I wanted to make a quicky announcement letting you all know that I made the very hard decision to close my store at DPH. The group of ladies there are wonderful and extremely talented, and made my stay there very enjoyable.

That said, links to my products will not work until my new store at Polka Dot Plum is up, that is where you will find all of my kits!

It's Coming to Town... with a freebie

I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that yes, I am still here! It's been a while I know, but I have been very, very busy! In both real life and digi life!

I'm gearing up for the opening of Polka Dot Plum (which will happen sometime in July.... can't tell you when, it's a surprise!) so I thought that I would give you a little peek at a my newest kit, which you can grab Grand Opening weekend!

I am looking for 5 girls who can work with my most recent kits as quickly as possible.With my new store opening at Polka Dot Plum, I would like to have as many layouts in the gallery as possible. This would be for 1 month, with the opportunity to become permanent if you would like to stay.

1 Month Guest CT Requirements:
- minimum 2 layouts per kit
- must commit to at least 5 kits.
- post to Polka Dot Plum once open.

Baby's 1st Birthday

So, Saturday was my nephew Jax's 1st Birthday party! My sister went all out on this one... balloons, food, cake, cupcakes, and even a jumpy thing! The kids loved it!

It was pretty funny, when the time came for Jax to eat his cake, the little monkey didn't even dive right it like most kids do, he picked little tiny pieces off and carefully placed them in his mouth. So unfortunately I have no pics of a 1 year old with cake all over his face!

I was in totally awe of the cupcakes and the cake, they were just too cute!

And as you may or may not know, I do luuuv cupcakes! I made my infamous Cupcakes in a Jar for Christmas, and often bake cupcakes at home for no reason (Nick loves when I do that!). So when I can across the new Dr. Oetker Shaker in the grocery store yesterday, I was pretty impressed with their idea; just add milk or water, shake, shake, shake and pour! It's that quick & easy!

What's even more impressive is that the Shaker has 0 grams of trans fat, and is a source of fibre and prebiotics. All that goodness in a delicious cupcake!

I can't wait to try it out! It gives me a reason to make cupcakes for no reason! lol

And if you are not as big of a cupcake fan as me, there are also muffin & pancake shakers, that come in a variety of flavours like chocolate chip, Mmmmm! There is nothing like a warm chocolate chip pancake in the morning.

Wanna be a Sugar Plum?

Polka Dot Plum is opening soon and we are in the need of a creative team!
We are looking for a fun group of layout and hybrid artists to join us.

Requirements:
* Layout Artists: You will be assigned to two designers each month on a rotating basis and will be required to create two pages per designer.
* Hybrid Artists: You will be assigned to two designers each month on a rotating basis and will be required to create one project per designer.
* Post your pages to at least 3 galleries; one being Polka Dot Plum. Others preferred are DSA, DST or MSA.
* Participation in the forum and gallery a must.
* First three months we'll be "testing the waters" and if the water is fine, you will be offered a full time position as a Sugar Plum.

Bonus (not a requirement):
Once you have posted your required pages, you will then have the option to request a kit of your choosing to work with. There won't be a limit on the extras you can request as long as you post a LO within a reasonable amount of time.
